Corporate Cakes Terms and Conditions

All orders are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

For the purposes of the Terms and Conditions, the person/organization placing and paying for the order is the “customer” and “you”. The person/organization coordinating the fulfillment of the order is “Corporate Cakes” and “we”. The person/organization receiving the order is the “receiver”, and that may or may not be the same as the “customer”.


Orders – Order requests are accepted via telephone, email, social media (e.g. Facebook) and on our website. We will send a quote request for confirmation. Once you confirm the quote, the order officially begins. We need a minimum of 3 business days (72 hours’ notice) from the start of the order to delivery. Orders started within 3-6 business days will incur a priority rush fee of $50 per delivery location and orders within 7-10 business days will incur a rush fee of $30 per delivery location. We consider orders beyond 10 business days standard and thereby do not incur rush fees.


Shipping – We print the logos/images at our headquarters in South Carolina and ship the images to the bakeries responsible for the cake/cupcakes/cookies. We include the icing sheet shipping to the bakeries as a service fee. This service fee is included in the cake/cupcake/cookie pricing. In the case of a priority rush order, we may need to deliver the icing sheets to the bakeries faster thereby resulting in shipping surcharges on your invoice. We will estimate these surcharges on the quote, and the actual charges will appear on the invoice.


Payment – Payment request are sent via email with a “pay invoice” link to access our online payment portal. Orders must be paid in full prior to delivery. We are also able to accept credit card payments over the phone if need be.


For larger orders, a 50% deposit is required at the time of order confirmation to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to delivery.


Product Design – The products (cakes, cupcakes and cookies) are all handmade by local bakeries in our network. With everything handmade, they are individual, unique and vary bakery to bakery. We cannot guarantee to produce exactly the same product as in a picture, but we do strive to provide the highest quality in look and taste. Our icing sheets are printed at our headquarters in Charleston, SC to ensure the quality, consistency and color of the images.


Amendments – Any amendments to your order must be confirmed via email as soon as possible, and may be subject to an additional charge if extra work is required. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed depending on when the change request is made.


Cancellation – In the event of cancellation, work already completed is still chargeable. All deposits are non-refundable.


Delivery – The products ordered can only be delivered to the delivery address provided by you to us. In addition to the delivery address we need a point of contact at the delivery address, including their direct phone number in case the bakery’s delivery person needs it.


If for some reason no one is present to receive the delivery at the delivery address provided, the bakery will take the product back to the bakery and retain it for 24 hours (or next business day). During this time if an updated name and/or delivery address is provided, the bakery will redeliver (subject to their availability) for an additional re delivery fee. You are also welcome to arrange alternative collection of the product(s) directly from the bakery at your own cost.


Our Obligation – We take our obligation to provide your baked goods to each and every destination on the date of your event very seriously. However, should an unforeseeable event occur that prevents us from fulfilling our obligation and forces us to cancel your order, we will refund your payment in full.


Limitation of Liability – Corporate Cakes’ goal is to perform its services in a professional manner and provide the best customer experience possible. In the event that our products or services do not meet our high standards, or the customer is dissatisfied, we may–at our discretion–offer a partial refund or credit towards a future purchase. Corporate Cake’s total liability is hereby limited to amounts paid to Corporate Cakes for its goods and services.  A refund request must be received within 10 business days of the delivery date of the order to be considered for a refund.  We are unable to offer refunds for delays that occur due to reasons that are outside of our ability to control.

Photographs – We reserve the right to take and use photos of the cakes, cupcakes and cookies ordered by the customer, for the customer. If the products ordered by the customer is received by another organization, we will not use the photos unless approved by the customer and/or the receiver.


Acceptance – By placing an order with Corporate Cakes, you are agreeing to these terms.
